AD-4 Skyraider
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider or AD Skyraider is a single-engine piston tactical support bomber, one of the last used by modern air forces. Born too late to take part in the Second World War, the Skyraider, designed to operate both from runways and from aircraft carriers, fought in Korea and then in Vietnam under American colors. From 1959, France bought more than a hundred copies in AD-4 single-seater and AD-4N and NA three-seater versions. He took part, in particular, in the Algerian war in the ranks of the 20th fighter squadron of the Air Force.
